Welcome to Yarns About Yarn, a place you can come for unique, modern designs and help with your crocheting techniques.  

Much of my professional career has been in the fashion and beauty industry and I have been lucky enough to have won international fashion design awards.  Crochet, which was once just a hobby I loved, has become my full time obsession.  I use my professional design background to create modern crochet patterns that have special attention to detail, as I think it is all about the details that take things from homemade to handmade.  Some of my designs may look complicated but when broken down with picture tutorials, which I include in my patterns, and YouTube tutorials, most people with basic crochet skills are able to recreate them and give them their own personal touch.  

Each of my designs have a “yarn” or story that inspired the design.  I share these yarns in my pattern giving you more insight into my design process.
